Christmas Rodeo

Chester, the bowlegged cowpoke,

Had a pair of Christmas chaps.

The leather was red and shiny.

The fringe was green with golden straps.

All of the Etna cowboys

Looked at him and said, “oh no.”

They wouldn’t let ole Chester

Ride the Christmas rodeo.

Right before the big event,

Diablo the bull broke out.

Had ole Santa in his sights,

The crowd began to shout.

The fat man was haulin’ leather,

When Chester, in chaps, jumped down.

He got the bull’s attention

Just like a rodeo clown.

He dashed right and then jogged left,

That bull was on his mind.

Chet’s fringe was a flappin’

‘Cross his red-framed behind.

Suddenly, Chet was launchin’,

Airborne like a soccer ball,

Shouting “A Merry Christmas

To Everyone, one and all.”
