The Reality of Ukraine’s Revolution

 

Dear Friends,

 

   A milestone: my first published article in any national newspaper since my February 2006 stroke, with help in editing by my beloved wife Lynn.  My thanks for prayers and help from so many friends.  My language skills are slowly improving.

 

  More than two years since the electrifying "revolutions" in Ukraine, Georgia, and Kyrgyzstan, it is time to reflect on the results.  Paradoxically, post-Soviet Ukraine's sluggishness in reforms is linked in some ways with Ukraine's lack of Russian-style despotism.
