Welcome to the Fort Jones Lions club located in Fort Jones, Ca. We are located about 10 miles southwest of Yreka, Ca. in Scott Valley and right in the middle of the Marble Mountain and Trinity Alps wilderness areas. We are a small club, always looking for new members, and are very active in fundraising events that support youth development, sports activities, help for those in need, senior citizens and many other events within Lions International.
Scott Valley is a small, rural and agricultural based area that encompasses Fort Jones, Greenview, Etna, and Callahan. We are the fifth largest county in the state of California and have a population less than 40,000 people. Outdoor recreation is probably the largest attractor of visitors in the late spring through fall. Activities include fishing, camping, hiking, backpacking the Pacific Crest Trail, trail riding, and hunting. It is truly a sportsman’s paradise for those who enjoy the beauty and ruggedness of nature.
