The Fort Jones Lions club is comprised of 22 members and is very active in our community. We support many functions that promote education such as public speaking events, 4H clubs, youth baseball, high school track and tennis, scholarships, and more.
Additionally, we look to support the local volunteer fire department, local rodeos, the Fort Jones Museum, and senior citizen projects (such as providing wood for winter fuel to those in need). We are continually seeking opportunities to provide help to our community so that it may improve and evolve.
Many of our members are self employed, retired, or work in the business world and together provide a wealth of knowledge and skills to support our community and its’ needs. “Together We Serve” the community to make it better for all who live here. We also have a lot of fun while we are serving the community whether it is cooking at the local rodeo, the Christmas parade, or any other event we become involved with. Satisfaction is often derived just from a simple smile on a child's face or a “thank you” from a senior citizen for something we have done to help them. Why not come and join us so you can be a part of this experience, too.
