The solar panels will put out about half their rated power on overcast days. The system is designed such that half the rated output is enough to recharge the batteries between moves. |
2. How long will it take to install an Easy Move Kit on my wheel line driver? |
It takes approximately 45 minutes to an hour to install the Easy Move Kit with ordinary tools. |
3. Do I have to take the batteries out in the winter time? |
No, the charge controller will hold the batteries at full charge. The batteries should only be removed if the temperature is going to drop below -25 F. |
4. What are chances of an Easy Move Driver being started by somebody else's transmitter? |
The transmitters we use have a digitally coded signal. There are over one million combinations of those digital codes. The chance of somebody being within range and having the same code is almost nonexistent. |
5. How long will the batteries last? |
The batteries we recommend are group 27 size deep cycle type which are available locally for $50 to $60 each. If the batteries are properly maintained, they should last 5 to 6 years. |
