John & Stephanie Bullock Job


          Neil is finishing up on this custom home for John and Stephanie Bullock. They retired in 2000 and are excited about living in the Scott Valley area. They have owned this piece of land for several years and have been working on their dream home.

          We have kept a building journal of photos of the building and those who are interested can check this out and see how the job progressed. Photos are great and wonderful to see, but they load slowly. So we are asking for your patience the waiting will be worth it.

The inside is close to finished

Stephanie in the kitchen. Cabinets are birch built by Paul Black. Stainless steel refrigerator in back of Stephanie.

Granite counter tops. Built in stove in island with stainless steel sinks.

Looking from the loft down on John sitting at bar counter. Note the laminated beam, see through upper cabinets, 'African Slate' tile floor and door to the deck and birding view area.

John sitting on the wood stove hearth on the west side of the main room. Behind the wooden cabinet is hidden, the 'Monitor Heater'. Just open the doors and the heat will come out.

The front window looking from the loft out to the bird watching area.

This custom made bird watching area is perfect for Bullocks and the landscape. Note the seats facing the view with the ledge to hold your elbows while holding the binoculars. Great idea!

This was a custom hand made protective screen on the landing up to the loft. This to is very unique and fitting for the Bullocks. Favors John fly fishing hobby and Stephine's eye for art.


The house is very close to being finished.
Then the big moving in day and the real enjoyment of living in this Dream House.

It's when a house becomes a home!
