Devachan |

Ageless are the Teachings of the Vedas. And among these is that of the necessity of Devachan. Passing out of the earthly shell the human Spiritual Essence carries with It an almost unavoidable collection of unfulfilled lofty spiritual longings, not lived out in Its mortal days. Before moving on to Its next life on Earth, It must out-live these anguished spiritual desires for Beauty in a condition of Its own creation named Devachan. It is forced to remain in this state of delightful illusion until every quantum of desire for Its longed for visions of Bliss is exhausted. In some instances these sojourns through the realm of unmarred happiness can consume centuries, time during which the human Spirit cannot continue Its spiritual development.
