One of just a few buildings remaining in Hamburg from the mid 1800's, Rainbow Resort & Grocery Store started its existence as a dance hall. The dance hall was well-known in Siskiyou County for its springy wood floor. Over the past 150 years, Rainbow has gone through many changes; yet it has kept its old time country look and charm. Rainbow currently hosts a store, a barbecue grill and three cabins. The store is well-stocked with general supplies for camping, hiking, biking, fishing, and hunting. The owners, Steve and Janis Prukop, serve delicious tasting barbecue meals. Rainbow also offers overnight, weekly and monthly rentals of their comfortable modern cabins with beautiful mountain views. The cabins come with kitchenettes and satellite TV. If you want to experience the wild outdoors, there are many campgrounds along the Klamath River. Two are close to the Rainbow Resort - Sarah Totten and O'Neil Creek. Come visit us to stock up on supplies, enjoy the good food and picture perfect views or just relax in our quiet peaceful cabins.
