Welcome to the Scott Valley Fire Protection District

Scott Valley Fire Protection District is within the confines of Scott Valley, and covers about 865 square miles. The department consists of seven stations and thirteen pieces of equipment. The department currently has twenty three members, a five member board of commissioners, a Chief, two Assistant Chief's and one very dedicated secretary.

Scott Valley Fire Protection District is now taking applications for the position of firefighter. Please reply by e-mail if you are interested in an application or stop by our Greenview station on the second or fourth Tuesday of each month, at 7:00 in the evening. The station is located at 317 Maple St.

We are interested in assisting with medical aid call's in the Callahan area. We are in need of two more active volunteer fire fighters  to assist with this project.

The citizens of Scott Valley need to be aware of the dedication of your fire fighters. Fifteen of the members have successfully completed the First Responder Medical class. They gave up their Tuesday nights, for the last two months, to be better trained, to assist you, the residents, of Scott Valley.
