Hellfire and Damnation BBQ Sauce

Makes 4 ½ Cups

 

1  T canola oil

1  cup finely copped onions

6  garlic cloves finely chopped

4  cups tomato catsup

½  cup vinegar

½  cup dark brown sugar

½  cup Worcester sauce

½  cup beer

2 T Dijon mustard

¼  cup Tabasco sauce

 Freshly ground pepper

 

            In a medium sauce pan, heat the oil over medium heat.  Add the onion and garlic and sweat until transparent.  Add the remaining ingredients, reduce the heat.  Simmer for 30 minutes.

Pasta Caesar Salad

DRESSING

1  Cup grated Parmesan cheese

½ Cup lemon juice

1  Cup olive oil

4  cloves garlic

2 t  Worcester sauce

2 t  Dijon mustard

Salt and Pepper

            Shake in a jar.

 

Break up Romaine lettuce. 

Cook pasta, drain and soak in ½ of the dressing while cooling.

Toss and add dressing as needed.

Add any or all:

Chicken or any meat

Pistachios

Crotons

Artichokes
