Her training in art comes from college classes and various drawing and watercolor workshops. She has received numerous awards at local art shows. Her original artwork has been printed into cards and prints.

Being creative, working with her hands, and using art to encourage are all part of Suzanne’s life. She feels art brings great depth and joy to our lives. If you came by her house you might find her working in clay, making soap, drawing or painting. She loves it all. Loving the outdoors and being moved by the beauty that surrounds her, Suzanne finds herself drawn to creeks and mountains especially in the wilderness. She says, “ I feel God’s presence in the mountains, my horses provide inspiration and study, and there is subject matter everywhere in nature.” Watercolor is her favorite medium. She loves how the paint moves and it suits her desire to create feeling and emotion. Color, shape and design are important to her as she paints.
